D1A Athletic Directors' Association Membership Services

  1. Administration of the 1A Athletic Director Institute
  2. Administration of the Annual Meeting, as well as many other meetings throughout the year;
  3. Administration of sensitive and critical issues such as the Charter Aircraft Security Plan and the stadium fly-over/banner-tower situations;
  4. Administration of the annual surveys regarding compensation and financial operation, as well as other survey topics as requested by the membership;
  5. Liaison with every affiliated organization with whom the Association has common interests, and promotion of professional issues;
  6. Assist member institutions in the process to conduct employment searches;
  7. Daily support for Association members in the performance of on-campus duties;
  8. Administer the Association Mentor Program;
  9. Coordinate efforts to monitor issues involving national regulatory Issues such as the NCAA Governance Structure, NCAA legislation, and industry initiatives;
  10. Cultivation of revenue development for Association programs.
