Core Values of the Association
Six Core Values guide and govern our actions. They define "what we stand for" and "what we won't stand for." They include:

- Our member schools are supportive of the educational mission of the community of higher education.

- The Association is led by a vibrant and forward-thinking Executive Director, Officers, Executive Committee and Past-Presidents.
- We have developed and continue to refine a clear and concise Strategic Plan for the future of the Association

- The Student-Athlete is the focal point for all our actions
- The health and safety of the Student-Athlete will always remain our top priority.
- We strive to enhance the Student-Athlete experience-academically, athletically and socially.
- We provide "life skills" training to all Student-Athletes.
- Our Student-Athletes are actively involved in community outreach and volunteerism.
